Gladiator: “I will have my vengeance”

On 15 May 2024 at 5:08pm ET, Tsuki posted a 43-second clip with no caption from Gladiator (2000): Maximus takes off his helmet in the arena and names himself before the emperor, ending “And I will have my vengeance”.

It came the same day as Tsuki's TICK and TOCK frames from The Prestige. On 30 May 2024 Tsuki replied to a post with a still of the same scene, the caption “MY NAME IS MAXIMUS DECIMUS MERIDIUS,” and a red power symbol (⏻) on Maximus's forehead.

The community's read

The community reads the clip as a returning hero who was written off, posted while Roaring Kitty was back on X, and links the ⏻ on Maximus to the ⏻ on Tsuki's Toys“R”Us post of 24 May.
