A pixel cat, “vile”, and “What's the concern?”

On 3 September 2026, Robinhood introduced a pixel cat in a Robin Hood hat for referrals at 11:17am ET, AMC CEO Adam Aron called Robinhood's stock tokens “contemptible … vile” at 5:18pm ET, and Vlad Tenev replied “What's the concern?” at 11:11pm ET.

Robinhood also posted “meow or never” at 3:00pm ET. Aron said AMC had no connection to the token and that it was not registered under US securities laws; the tokens are offered only outside the US. The next day Aron asked Robinhood to stop and Robinhood's chief legal officer Dan Gallagher said it would not. Aron later asked whether shares backing the tokens can be lent to short sellers; Robinhood had not answered publicly as of mid-September. The afternoon after Vlad's reply, at 4:11pm ET on 4 September, Tsuki ended 481 days of silence with “4663”.
