In the film, John Doe asks “What time is it?” and Mills answers “Seven-oh-one”; the courier says he was paid 500 dollars to bring the box out there at exactly 7:00, addressed to David Mills. Somerset, who is seven days from retirement, opens it and runs back shouting at Mills to put his gun down. Tsuki's clip opens on “What time is it?” (0:01) and “Seven-oh-one” (0:08), then Somerset's “Wait for my signal. Wait for me.” (0:19) and Doe's “When I said I admired you, I meant what I said” (0:55), and its last line before the picture cuts to black is Somerset on the radio: “Whatever you hear, stay away. John Doe has the upper hand” (2:00); over the black that follows, John Doe says “Here he comes” as Somerset runs back toward Mills. It ends before the reveal and before the shot. The post went up at the market close, as did Tsuki's “SCION: TSUKI/GME” post of 6 September 2026 (4:00:01pm).
The community's read
The community reads it alongside the films in Tsuki's other posts: a veteran close to retiring, a young partner, something precious in a small container, and a delivery set for an exact time. 9 October is also read as 10/9, the 1:09 on Roaring Kitty's TIME cover, and it is six years to the day after Roaring Kitty's Friday night stream, which he announced as “coming up at 7 ET!”. The post landed 125 weeks to the minute after Roaring Kitty's last post before his 2024 silence (Friday 17 May 2024, 4:00pm ET), the afternoon he posted the same scene's “What's in the box?” over a GameStop box whose PAUSE counter stops on 4:20; the community reads 10/9 and 4:20 together as the 01:09 of 04:20 on his TIME cover post of 12/5, and 125 as 12/5 and 5/12.
